Welcome to Becoming a Homeowner

New Hampshire Housing’s Online Homebuyer Education Course

This course is broken into three learning modules:

Preparing for Homeownership
Financing Your Home
Purchasing Your Home

Within each module, you will find lessons designed to help you understand the homeownership process and prepare to become a homeowner.

In This Course, You Will Learn:

The Five C’s of Credit: Credit, Capital, Capacity, Character, and Collateral
The importance of budgeting
How to qualify for a mortgage
What to expect from your mortgage lender and other lending professionals
What happens at the closing table

Course Structure

At the end of each module, you must complete a short quiz in order to proceed to the next module.
To receive your certificate of completion, you must pass each quiz.
